Holding it Together

I don't have pictures and I'm sure once you hear the story you don't want any either. My little niece Mylee has been sick this evening meaning throwing up and having diarrhea. Poor little thing. Because she is only 2 and hasn't thrown up so many times in her life she does not quite know how to recognize the feeling. All you Moms out there probably know what I'm talking about. But I was sitting on the couch when all of the sudden Mylee putting it in her own words spilled out of her mouth. Yes that is right. She threw up all over herself and me.
My shirt and pants were soaked. I got her out of my lap and Krista trying to help rushed over with a cup because that was the closest thing she could find. Mylee didnt want to throw up in the cup so was refusing to. Then she put her passey in the cup and then threw up on top of it. It took all I had to not throw up myself. My poor sister Krista did not make it and while trying to get Mylee out of her clothes she lost some of her own dinner. Spaghetti and apple juice does not smell so grand once it's come back up. We have a bowl system going on now where she will sit straight up and we will put the bowl right under her and we have had no accidents since. Wondering where Mom and Dad are at this time. It is Valentine's Day so Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa are on a double dinner date. Krista and I are babysitting and enjoying the not so grand joys of motherhood.
Here's a pic of the sick baby.

Poor Mylee. And Nyree and Krista. I hope she gets better and no one else gets it!
