White Elephant Gift

My Dad and I went to a party the other day to celebrate the Chinese New Year. We were told to bring a white elephant gift. We came back with a true white elephant gift. What do you think?

The duck even has a hidden talent. Well you can tell what that hidden talent is just from looking at the photos. I think it is the funniest thing ever.

Colin Matthew

My family keeps growing and I'm loving it. Here is the newest member of the family. He was born February 8 2010. He weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 21 in. long. He is so cute. He is the 4th child of my older brother Matthew and his wife Emily.

My niece Lia who is now 4 almost 5 is holding her youngest brother. I think she is adorable.

Here is a picture of Grandma Gibbons holding her newest grandbaby. He is the 5th grandchild in our family.

My Buddy and Me

I have been wanting to build this huge snowman. I have almost 2 feet of snow to work with. The only thing is it is very cold here and their is no moisture to the snow. The snow is very dry and does not pact together very well. I was determined though and was able to create my little buddy Mr. Snowman.

Trampoline Magic

As you all may know from previous posts we own a trampoline. It gets completely covered with snow every time. I have had the opportunity to clean it off both times and am going to have to do it at least one more time. I decided to shovel the snow off seeings how my hands were not efficient enough. The shovel worked a lot better. I discovered while shoveling that the bottom was covered in a very thick ice sheet. The video shows how thick the pieces are. Here are before and after pictures of the trampoline.

This is a video of the ice chunks I found as the base layer on the trampoline.

Let it Snow

Well Family and Friends, VA has had a couple of major snow storms in the past couple of months. The fact that two of them hit in the same month about a week apart has not been good. Both my parents were able to make it onto their plane and get to their destinations is safety. As for me I am just snowed into the house. Well I have a broken shovel to fend with but it can become very tiring to use this shovel for long periods of time. Here are a few pictures to prove my point.

In this next photo my Dad had been working hard shoveling. As you may see the shovel is whole. That is only because he borrowed a shovel from one of our neighbors. Its even harder for my Dad to use the broken shovel than it is for me. I am shorted and have smaller hands.

Our driveway is long so we are able to park all three of our cars on it but one gets buried deep. Because my tires are really bad and I need new ones my parents feel safer if I drive one of their vehicles. I'm fine with that but more poor car because it hasn't been driven for a bit really got snowed in. Who knows by the end of the storm it may be completely covered.

This last photo is of me with my cool as sunglasses.
