Krista's Surgery

As many of you know Krista hurt her knee up at a Ward Retreat. She was dancing to the "Thriller" and on a turn jump she snapped her ACL. The rest of the retreat was a little tricky to say the least but we made it through. Well she had surgery the day before Thanksgiving. Here are some of the pics and videos which were taken.

This is Krista before going into surgery.

Here is a video Mom took of Krista before she went into surgery.

Before going into surgery you have to right on your knee to say that is the one you want to be operated on. So Krista wrote yes.
Her Doctor came in and signed it for her.
Krista post surgery.

Here is a video of Krista after surgery.

This is a bruise she got from her IV.

Krista is cuddling with Mylee on the couch. They are watching a movie together.

Day at the Park

So a couple of years ago we went to a park near our house that had those animals on springs. Well my mom decided to ride the frog and she immediately fell off it so we re-named it "Killer Frog." Michelle, Doug, Mylee and I all went to the park and the "Killer Frog" was ridden once more.

I Kissed a Vampire

I love the actor Lucas Grabeel. I was looking for new music on I-tunes and I found this song "Outta of My Head". So I went on Youtube and found a music video to it and I love it. It is way different than anything else I have seen him do. I hope you all enjoy.

Fallen Tree

My Mom and I are taking care of a friends dog. While we were gone one night my Dad called and told me that our big tree in the front yard fell. Here are some photos and video of what happened. I took a few photos at night. They aren't very good but it was fresh.

I took a lot more pictures the next day. The tree twisted away from the house and fell into our driveway. No cars were hurt. My car was parked on the street and then my Mom and I had the van and my Dad's car was parked close the garage so no worries.

This is the debris laying across the driveway and a picture of our mailbox buried in the treetop.

Here is a video of everything.

Goofy Faces

I bought a new camera a couple of months ago. While playing around with it I found a function on it that when you hold down the picture button it will take picture after picture. After discovering this I decided to take a string of goofy photos. Then had my sisters follow in my footsteps. Sorry I put me and my sisters in backwards order. I went first then Michelle and then Krista. I really hope you enjoy all the photos because we enjoyed making the faces.

Driving Vacation

My sister Michelle and I decided to do another Triathlon this year. We trained for a longer period of time this time. Well I decided to take a month vacation from my job. Here are a few photos of my mom and I driving across. We drove across 8 states and saw 60 blown tires, 21 dead deer, and 50 dead critters.

This is Mom snoozing on one of the days we traveled.

We also stopped at a random gas station and it was super windy. All that wind blew my hair straight up. It was wicked Awesome!

This is what happened when I played "Hey Cow!"

Denver Aquarium

Grandma, Mylee, Michelle and I all went to the Denver Aquarium. Mylee really likes fish and enjoyed every minute of the aquarium. Here is a pic of Mylee and Grandma.

I ordered a croissant sandwhich thinking it would be a regular sized croissant but it was giant. Wow!

My Mom and sister Michelle ordered the same thing for lunch which was grilled chicken fettucine alfredo with garlic toast.

Mylee and I went deep sea diving.

Michelle and Mylee looking at fish on the celing. Cool huh!

I saw this bald eagle and totally flipped out because I thought it was real. Then I realized it was animatronic.

Mylee and Nyree looking at a huge fish tank. She was loving it!

Mylee wanted a closer look at the fish so I boosted her up to take a look. Oddly enough she didn't try to touch the fish.

This is our uber jumbo fish. He was massive!

These are different colored starfish.

Mylee, Nyree and Michelle in our bubble cave looking at fish but actually looking at Mom taking the picture.

I thought this fish was cool because he was missing his right eye. If you look closely you can only see the eye socket.

Mylee and I decided to climb into some surrounding branches. Aren't we cute together.

I leaned Mylee over the fish tank like I did before but this time she put her hand in the tank. It freaked her out and she is holding up a wet hand to be dried off. It was really kind of funny.

Mylee and Grandma stopped to rest.

Isn't this shark Awesome! I can't believe I got this shot. Mylee was fascinated by this shark and followed it around. She sat face to face with the shark. Mylee is fearless.

At the end of our journey we got the opportunity to pet a sting ray. It rocked. This is a pic of my Mom's hand petting the sting ray.
