Colorado: Part 3

Good Morning!!! The alarm went off at 0300. Mikayla didn't move a muscle. 

Krista woke Michael by deflating his bed. 

All the girls wore pink. This is us loading the car for our journey. 

I took 1st shift. And while Krista and I partied in the front the rest of the crew crashed in the back not yet ready to greet the day. 

Once the sun came up this was our view. 

This is how we felt 5 hours into the journey:

Colorado: Part 2

We slept in this morning till 1100. It was wonderful. We checked out of our hotel at 1200 and couldn't check into our next hotel until 1500. We walked around the hotel grounds which was pretty. 

We decided to go get some food at Village Inn which was Amazing.

We then took a mini road trip to a TA (Travel Center of America) to get a pocket knife from CO.

Checked in to our next hotel. 

Went swimming and had a blast. There were two pools and a hot tub. We enjoyed all three. 

We then got ready for the dance competition. We got there early so Mikayla could look at the jewelry and costumes. She tried on loads:

Before we watched them dance we needed to stretch our legs so we went out into the courtyard to find the bunny. Found It!

Climbed on some rocks before we went back inside. 

We watched them dance and they were Amazing. They took 2nd and 1st place. We then went back to the hotel to re-pack and get everything ready for our early morning get up.

Colorado: Part 1

Took a trip with my niece Mikayla to go and watch my younger brother Michael and his dance partner Marina in a competition. At out first stop we had a Root Beer "Old Faithful". Mikayla and the after math. 

We stopped at a rest stop and we had glorifies port-a-potties. 

We stopped at Marina's brothers (Nathan) house to drop her off. They made homemade Root Beer. 

Aaaaahhhhhh Delicious!

We got to our hotel a little late.

So we ate dinner late. We went to Applebee's. 

Our Hotel was Awesome so the pool was open until Midnight. Yes we went swimming.

Part 2.2: Rexburg

Breakfast at Frontier Pies. Giant chocolate milks and a pink lemonade.

Krista's car pooped macaroni.

Our feet I couldn't resist. 

We found a giant steam tractor. Wanted to take a picture so we had to get creative. Krista was holding Lia in her lap pinned against a rock and a wire fence. Took us 3 tries.

Not perfect but Krista's bad knee got tweaked and we called it good. 

We finally had success on flying Lia's kite. 

We had New York Burrito for lunch. 

Lia cross stitching during Conference. 

Lia stayed in the Sailing Room and look how nicely she made her bed. 

Krista and I stayed in the Pine Cone Room. My very messy bed is on the right and Krista's is on the left.

Lia reunited with Mom.
